Fitness and Leisure Hydrotherapy Pool for Dogs
THE POOL
The pool is a specially designed, large, Hydrotherapy pool with 2 ramps and separate steps which all have non-slip surfaces to make it easy for dogs to enter and leave the pool.
SAFETY is of paramount importance. Dogs are monitored all the time that they are in the pool. Your dog’s individual needs will be tailored to suit their condition and fitness. We have life jackets to cater for all sizes of dogs, if needed. In pool assistance by a qualified Hydrotherapist is provided if necessary.
CLEANLINESS
The Water in the pool is regurlarly monitored and purified by the pools inbuilt, highly efficient filtration system. We also ensure that all bacteria are eliminated by an Ozonator, which puts ozone into the water allowing us to minimise any use of chemicals.
Records are kept for all dogs to monitor their progress.
The pool is 30′ x 12′ (approx 9.1m x 3.7m) and is heated to 27-30˚C. Not only does the fact that the pool is warm make swimming more pleasurable for your dog, but it also has important physical consequences as warm water causes the blood vessels to expand and this can result in a decrease in pain and stiffness and an increase in muscle efficiency.
There are shower and drying facilities provided and an enclosed garden area for the dogs to use.
