Initially she was very shy and nervous, hiding in my utility room at the back of some shelves, but gradually she has become used to the occupants here and the noises and has come out of her shell and ventured out into the living room. I think once she has really settled she will show us that she actually is the type of cat who loves having company around her. Elsa loves nothing better than to lie or roll around on her back and have her tummy gently tickled. She breaks out into a purr at the drop of a hat and seems to be very gentle and affectionate. Elsa loves being picked up and she is very much a lap cat, taking any opportunity to lay on you when you are sitting or laying down. Indeed, its very hard to get rid of her once shes there as she clings to you if you are trying to get up and gives you a look as if to say “i have only just got myself comfortable”!! I have tried her on wet food and she L O V E S it. she gobbles it up and meows for more. It would be easy to overfeed her as her meowing is very insistent and she is rather a large girl but you would have to be strict with her.
I think she would be ideal as a companion, on a one to one basis with either a male or female or perhaps a couple (who have no children or other > pets) who can give her the attention she deserves.
