HOMED June 2010
Kermit is a brown and white lop male born in April 2006. He arrived with us with the most rotten teeth we have ever seen. His molars were rotting in his gums and one had grown into his cheek.
He was extremely thin and weighed just 1.3 kg (a bunny of his breed and age should weigh around 2.3 kg). Despite his ill health we were so worried about his teeth that he really needed to have a dental. During the dental several of his teeth just fell out because they were so rotten. However he bounced back and now weighs 1.95 kg ( an amazing increase of 650g in a week!). His food has to be blended but he is eating like a horse which is brilliant. Kermit has a special place in our hearts because he is such a bouncy and lively boy despite all his health problems. He has a way to go before he is ready for rehoming but keep an eye on the website for an update of his progress. Kermit is a really nosey boy. He is living in the med shed at the moment where all the action happens. However he does like to know what is going on elsewhere and we got a cheeky photo of him spying on us all when we were in the garden – see the photo in the photo gallery. Kermit is being sponsored this week by Kate Webster, Joanne Barnes, Rebecca Gibbon and Sue Baxter. Thank you for your support.
