Cobi is a very loyal lovely dog, he had been rehomed recently and his new owner only had praise for this lovely gentleman. He lived with two children one in his teens and a little girl age 5yrs old. He was the perfect house guest, learnt very quickly the rules and was housetrained within minutes. He played happily with the children and loved having loads of cuddles, he was even getting on with their resident cat.
So why was he brought back I hear you say, well unfortunately due to Cobi’s size and strength his new owner being a rather petite lady found it very hard to walk him, also having a young child present with her whilst out walking. Cobi’s sheer strength on the lead was too much for her, even thou she has previously had the same breed. Cobi, is very strong on the lead, and unfortunately he is not used to other dogs, he is fine if they are in the distance, but if close to him, he pulls to get to them. Cobi is a beautiful dog, which needs an experienced owner, who can train him to walk positively on the lead. Due to his size and strength we would recommend that he is homed with older children, even thou he was fine with younger children.
