DETAILS ARE YOU THE SPECIAL SOMEONE FOR THESE DELIGHTFUL DOGS WHO SO NEED A LOVING HOME? Jessie and Glen have been together all their lives, and have been the lifelong companions of an elderly man. The dogs are both easy, adorable darlings, who are as good as gold, and who get on with everyone, human and canine alike.

Very sadly, a month ago their owner passed away, and apparently he refused to be taken from his home into care because he feared for what might become of Jessie and Glen, he loved them so much. He was right to be worried, because after his death, family members tried many rescue homes, but all said they would not take the dogs for rehoming, and suggested the unthinkable.

But luckily his nephew persevered, and found a wonderful couple who are experienced animal welfare volunteers, and they agreed to take Jessie and Glen into their own home until there was room for them to come to DBARC to find their own special someone again.

If you have room in your home and your heart to help these two dogs, whose fosterers say they were “simply delightful”, undemanding and loving dogs, then you will be rewarded by their unstinting affection, and you will be the proud owner of two dogs who may not be in the first flush of youth but who still have many years ahead of them to enjoy with you. They have both been checked over by the Vet and had a full dental workup, although that has left Jessie with fewer teeth – but not enough to stop her enjoying her biscuits! The pair of them love their walks, love to cuddle up and watch TV, and are happy in each other’s company for reasonable periods of time if you have to go out. They are a lovely little couple, bless them!
