Poppy11 150x150 Wokingham Berkshire Terrier for rehoming/adoption

Poppy was taken into a Vets to be “disposed of” because her owner, who had bought her on a whim at a Fair last year, had now decided she didn’t want a dog!!
Fortunately, the Vets persuaded her that it would be much more appropriate for Poppy to be found a new home, and so she was allowed to stay at the surgery as a guest until there was room for her at DBARC!
Poppy has been a great favourite with all the Vets and nurses, and they say she is a lovely, friendly little girl, full of fun!
Poppy has had very little training but she is very eager to learn and keen to please, so really she is just like a slightly older puppy who needs to learn more about life.
Training classes will be essential for her, and she will need a home where she gets lots of walks and lots of mental exercise too!
Poppy has not lived with children, so we would like a home for her with no youngsters under 10 years, as young terriers and young kids make a volatile combination!
She will also need company most of the time, like any youngster
