HOMED June 2010
Ollie – is a lovely ginger male, 11 years old, who needs a home where he can be the centre of attention.
He would make someone a very good companion because all he wants is fuss and food in that order! (Ref. hfh)
Susie – is a very small, black, female cat, 6 years old. Susie had been taken to a vet to be put to sleep but as she is a relatively young cat, in good health, the vets asked TVAW if we could find room for her. She is a little shy until she gets to know you but very sweet. Susie has lived with other animals and might get along with a quiet dog or cat.
Spike – is a very friendly tabby male, about 7/8 years old, with a fluffy coat. He is very affectionate and would make a very good companion.
Sasha – is a”Golden Oldie” cat which means that the charity will help with the cost of any future veterinary treatment she may need. Sasha is a 12 year old black and white female cat. She came to us with Fred, her son but as the two cats had not always lived together and did not get on together very well Fred has been rehomed separately. Sasha is a friendly, playful cat although she hates to be picked up. She has recently received dental treatment and is fit and healthy for her age.
Tipsy and Jinx – Tipsy is a friendly 3 year old female cat. She is mainly white with ginger/tortie markings and tail and she has beautiful pale blue eyes. Jinx is a black 2 years old female cat. Both are friendly but Jinx would probably prefer a home without young children.
Oscar – the cat burglar, was a stray, unneutered male cat found in a village in Oxfordshire. He was desperate for food so was raiding houses through cat flaps and generally making a nuisance of himself. He has been blood tested for FIV/FeLV and neutered and is now ready for a new home. He is all black and about 4/5 years old. Oscar is a lively cat with lots of character.
Smudge – is a very lovely 7 year old black and white female cat who likes company. She has settled into her fosterhome very quickly showing a lot of affection towards the fosterer and her teenage children. However, we feel she would be best in a new home without young children who seem to upset her and make her anxious. Smudge would make a very good companion, perhaps for someone living one their own.
