Bert has come to us because his owner can no longer cope with his lively nature He was adopted from DBARC 4 months ago, but unfortunately his owners have not taken him to training classes and he has become quite a bumptious young man! When he was with us before he was pretty well behaved, sociable with other dogs with good manners towards people He has been allowed to get away with bad behaviour and now jumps up at people for attention – which is not acceptable as he is quite a strong, stocky dog! So – what Bert really needs is somebody who is prepared to put some work into his training – somebody who is prepared to teach him that bad behaviour is not acceptable, and not give up on him He will need more socialising with other dogs as he can be very bossy with some dogs – especially smaller ones Poor Bert has been let down once already, so please make sure you have the time and committment to work with him before offering him a home – please don’t let this lovely boy down again
