HOMED June 2010
Name: Kana
Breed: Terrier
Age: 3 years
Sex: Female (Neutered)
Description: Black & White
Kana was found virtually collapsed from hunger and exhaustion at the side of a busy road, but a Good Samaritan found her and took her to a Vet. On examining her, he found she was microchipped, and it turned out she had belonged to a Polish lady who had rehomed Kana when she returned to Poland last year. The new owner was traced, but said they had never really wanted a dog in the first place!! The sad and neglected state of Kana proved that the feelings were mutual as far as this poor dog was concerned, bless her. All Kana wants is to be loved and cuddled and made to feel valued. She is so friendly to people, but doesn’t seem interested in other dogs, and is apparently quite scared of some dogs. Perhaps she was having to compete for food scraps, given the poor state she was in when found. But she has rapidly gained condition and confidence in her foster home, and now needs a permanent home where she can put her unhappy past behind her. Kana is good on and off the lead, has nice manners and is a sweet little girl all round. She would like to be an only dog, and has no history of living with cats, or with children under 10 years. She has been a lonely unloved little soul, so will need company most of the time.
