HOMED July 2010
Wilf
Gender: Male Breed: Lurcher Age: 2 Years
Wilf originally arrived at the Shelter quite some time ago as a stray. He has undergone a lot of training since he has arrived to improve his socialisation and dog skills. We are very pleased to report that Wilf is now happy to be exercised alongside other dogs (on lead) though he is still not able to live with any. Wilf likes to be top dog! He is a typical sight hound and has a high prey drive so a home with cats or small furries is also out of the question. However, please don’t be put off, Wilf really is a terrific boy who loves people to bits. He can live with children aged 6 years +.
Wilf would need access to a large garden in his new home so he can have a bit of a run and stretch his legs. He is also perfectly happy being lead walked around the streets and through parks. As is typical of this breed, he really doesn’t need a great deal of exercise and once tired out will happily snooze on the sofa for the rest of the day.
Wilf has been neutered, microchipped and his vaccinations are up to date. He has also been wormed and flea treated and comes with 4 weeks free insurance.
