This is Xena a Female Rottie x Staffie. She is 4 years old and is the best dog eva. Her mom is a rottie and he dad a staff. She loves children and if she can't say hello and give them a kiss she begins to pine. She is very muscular and great looking, everything about her is rottie other than her staffie stamina. Thank you to Asha for sending in this info.

This is our staffy cross rottie Ted, when these pictures were taken he was approx 1 yr old he is now almost 1 and 1/2 yr old, he is the most loyal, loving, family pet we have ever had, he is so soft and gentle with our 4 yr old daughter and he is very protective of the family and our home but although he can look and sound intimidating he is really just an oversized lap dog. I will argue with anyone who says they are a vicious breed, it is not the breed that makes them vicious its the way they are treat and raised. This photo shows him climbing on my mother in law wanting cuddles lol. he is so playful and mischievious ya cant help but love him. I would recommend this breed to anybody who is wanting a loving and loyal family dog as they are fantastic with kids. Thanks to Tanya Hodds for this pic and info.

Hi there..this is my male rotty x staff called Deisel..he is 12 months old and came to live with us 7 months ago. He is a lovely natured boy with alot of energy that I try to wear out daily with long walks in the country side not far from where we live in Brighton. This is Roo (short for Kangaroo) he is a 5 year old male cross between a Rotweiler and Staffy. He was rescued from a family who were going to have him put down due to his boisterous behaviour. He is very much loved now and enjoys bouncing, collecting shoes and socks (he has a foot fetish) and trips out in the car! He is so energetic and still acts like a puppy, he is so loving and loves his snuggles. He's one of a kind and people always comment on how beautiful his markings are. He is the size and build of a staffy with Rottweiler markings and a rotti head! He's perfect.! Thank you to May O'Connor for sharing this info and pics.

Some pictures of our Bella, who is a staff/rottie cross. You will never meet a more affectionate dog, she loves cuddles, and snuggling up on either mine or her daddies lap (even though she is a big girl!). Very clever too, asks nicely for her treats, and then when she's finished, she gives you a high five!, and shes only dog I've met who loves having a bath! Jackie and Chris Barton

Paisley is around 6 now is the smartest, sweetest and the happiest dog I've ever had, and I've been a dog owner since I was three. I think she's also the most beautiful. She arrived at the shelter with her two siblings. All three had distemper. She and her brother recovered. Then they both came down with parvo. Only Paisley survived. No wonder she's so happy. 1. hi , we were gob smacked when our staffie carla gave birth to 9 rottie x staffie pups , at that moment it was obvious that our rottie farley had had her , we got 3 rottie colour and 5 full reds , all perfect all full of beans … they r brilliant in the family home with kids people and with our other 2 dogs, they are 100% protector puppies the rottie colour behaves in the way mum carla does and the red staffie colour looks and behaves just like a rottie , its very funny to watch them play ..

  2. i have a rotty staffy cross her names biscuit she is wired hyperactive but a fantastic temperment she is also very intellegant.i have 3 kids she is gr8 around them and around other dogs

i have a female staffy x rottwieller, her name is lucy and she is the most loyal n smart dog i have seen in a while.

  5. Hi i have a 2 year old staffy x rotty, his name is harvey and is a brindle colour with more rotty features that staff (the way he stands is also like a rottie), everyone who knows harvey of all ages says he is the best dog. he is a family memeber and loves all attenion also gets on very well with our 2 other dogs. he can be abit clumsey and heavy footed which is sometimes funny, only slight problem he has started acting different around (new) people i.e stands still and sometimes has a quite qrowl but onced stroked by someone he knows he puts down his guard. will try get a pic up. cheers

  6. I have a 4 month old Male Staffy/Rotty called Duke. He is the most loyal and protective dog I’ve ever had, very responsive to training, loves to play but also loves cuddles. I would recomend this breed to anyone with children in a family home and Duke cannot get enough attention from all of us including my ten year old brother who he adores!! Fantastic breed! Duke has the typical markings of a Rotty but im told theyre “smudged” which can be a genetic fault in Rottys, and hes the size of a Rotty just with the body shape of a Staff. Our family would not be complete without Duke :) X

  7. Ive got a stunning Staffy x Rottweiler Female called Tyla who is 4 years old. Shes a a bit bigger than a standard staffy but the colours of a rottweiler. She is the most loyal and needy dog ever! for the breed she is its very rare that dogs are as friendly as Tyla but she is absolutly amazing! she makes friends with anybody and tries to be the certain attention all the time! love her to bits! x

  8. I have a 12 week old Staffy X Rotty pup called Tsuki. Shes black with a white blaze on her chest like two of the others in her litter. The other two had Rotty colouring but they all looked like Staffys. She loves people more than anything! She is soooo intelligent and is learning everything very fast. I have already trained her not to come inside and to come, fetch, sit and drop on command. She continues to suprise me with her intelligence and has made everyone she’s met fall in love with her. I love her to bits and can’t wait to see how she grows up

  9. Ive got an (english) staffy x rottweiller called lola shes most gentle dog personality wise with people and other dogs alike however she is quite hyper. ive had her from 6 weeks old and shes now 3 years i have never seen any signs of agression whatsoever be it to a child, another dog or an adult certainly a brilliant family pet- if you have the energy!

  10. I’ve just sent in some pictures of my female rottie x staffy xena shes great. In the pictures she stalking some squirells. she loves chasing them although i dont think she will catch one unless its no where near a tree. she came rom a litter af 11 and has had a litter of 11. great parent she was indeed. a beautiful combination she is if u want a nice size dog with some meet on it that can guard and protect you aswell as be a great companion that can keep up with for hours then this is definately the breed of dog for you. i was thimking of breeding her with my freinds dog who is exactly the same breed and looks the spitting image of her. you never know one day they could be classed as pedigree!

  11. ment to say rottie x staffy

  12. I have a beautiful Rotty x staffy her name is Miley and she is such a baby loves attention constantly and gets plenty from the kids who she loves. If you are preparing for a rotty x staffy the only advice I can give you is prepare for some damage we have had holes dug and lounges chewed but now she is growing out of her puppy years is the most loyal gentle girl and has been all worth it.

Hi saw your section on the internet for a Staffordshire Bull Terrier x Rottweiler. I recently got one. She is now 14 Weeks old. Very happy and playful never stops! She loves our Boxer dog Tilli Bell. They get on really well. I do agree they are really hyper and can be hard to train at some parts of the day. When we tell her of she just wags her tail takes no notice! She just loves playing! She is getting to big to get under the table and couch now that anoys her quite abit.

Here is a picture of Lola attatched. P.S – If you have any advice then please email me. Ashleyfraser-2006@hotmail.com

we have a cross rotty/staffy that we rescued from Battersea Dogs Home in Windsor. He is a delight; strong as an ox; pretty bidable and loving. We think he might have hip displacer. He loves to run but we are afraid he is doing more harm than good. Have you any suggestions how to treat itplease?

  19. we have a mastiff cross rotti and he had a spinal condition and couldnt run without almost crippling him the next day and regular short swims have appeared to help dramatically but we give him an anti inflamatory after big swims. (metacam) hope that helps

  20. i have a 10 week old staffy x rotti pup called hooper. he is superb. had him for 4 weeks love him to bits. he is a bit hard to train even toilet training. any tips would be gratefull. dhunter1975@live.co.uk

my rottie x staffy is huge!! she is standing as big as her dad and she is still only 11months old. she is very loving and gentle. she learns very easy and quickly. very obedient at all times. she is very highly socialised and is excellent with other dogs the only problem is she plays very hyper with htem and not all dogs appreciate  a huge puppy bounding at them!!!.

the main problem  with her and a few others from the litter is that they dont like to be left alone and will go to the toilet inside or chew….. it is pure attention as i have popped to the car before and come back to find a big smelly present!!

i would recommmend this cross breed to anyone…. very loving and good looking dogs… i will send a picture of mitzie for u all to see.

  22. hi im gettin my rotty x staff in july and i cant wait he’s only 3 weeks old so still with mumzy. he so cute, he’s tan all over except a black mask across his eyes, we called him kato. like the green hornets sidekick. if you no what tht film is ull get it. i cant wait to get him, i bought him without even realising what a good dog they seem to be. hes goin to be in such a loving home :)

  23. We have a staff/rottie cross called Bella who is 8 months old. She is the most sweet dog, very good temperament, adores cuddles and loves with me and her daddy! Size wise, she is mahoosive! Definitely a rottie build, but with gorgeous staffie brindle markings, combined with the gorgeous big sad rottie eyes, she is irresistable. Its right about the stubborness, but I can be more stubborn so she doesn’t get away with it! All in all, a great dog to have!

  24. I have a lovely staff x rotty, she’s red with faint rotty markings round the head, recently she had an accident with a pure boxer, we now have 4 lovely puppies, 3 of which look like the dad and one which looks like the grandad the rottie :P

  25. one of the dogs is my but still al of them are cute xxxx

hi there i have rottie cross staff, 7 months old beautiful girl, lovely temperment, very cuddly and loves licking people, she is excellent with kids {I have two kids one 7mnths old and one 3 years old}, she is completly house trainned, knows sit , stay, no , paw and wait, bed and out, even my 3 year old child can tell her to do this with a treat in hand of course, she loves being played with and pulled about by my kids, shes a lovely soppy dog is excellent with other dogs rarely barks, and gets on with cats, perfect ll rounder dog :)

  27. we just got a 6week old rottie x staff…. he is a beauty !!! defo staff colouring but rottie shape…

  28. i have an 11 week old staffi x rottie girl, she is adorable but has been very aggresive for the last week , i am at my witts end and would appreciate any tips, she constantly is biting at any part of me she can get her teeth into, and if i try to pick her up to calm her she growls and bites, i have tried putting her out of the room for a little while, but as soon as i let her back in she just starts all over again, help any suggestions, cos i love her to bits but am struggling badly on what to do next.

  29. Could be one of two things, she is possible just teething and need some things to chew on or she could need to see a vet as dogs/puppies can become aggressive when in pain and of this is constant I would say the latter. Please call a vet for advice as constant aggression would really be very unusual in puppies.

  30. Just looking at the pictures, and our Bella could be Ted’s sister, they are exactly alike!!

  31. hiiii i am going to get one i have a 1 year old they have just ben born im gnna go for a boy any advise ???

  32. Not being funny chas but if you have a 1 year old you are going to have enough to do with bringing up a child,it isnt fair on the dog,and what will happen when you quickly go to answer the door yo someone an you leave child in same room as dog and your child grabs hold of dog, hurts it and gets bitten,or you have to run to cooker coz you here pan boiling over, sorry but i think its a bad decision to think of getting a dog…Just wait abit…..

  33. MY 3 YEAR OLD FREDDIE IS GREAT WITH KIDS AND SO LOVING JUST A BIG BABY REALLY BUT VERY PROTECTIVE AND A GOOD GUARD DOG. HAD HIM SINCE HE WAS 8 WEEKS OLD STAFF COLOURING BUT ROTTIE SIZE..ONLY DOWNFALL IS HIS TAIL IS LIKE A WHIP WHEN YOU GET CAUGHT BY IT!!!

  34. I have a Male 6month old English Staff x Rotty, named THOR! Hes one BIGGGG boy approx. 40kgs and the height of a cattle dog/labrador already. We have had quite a bit of problems with our neighbours as he is quite a mean aggressive looking dog & has a really deep bark BUT that couldnt be further then the truth Thor is the most docile gentle loving & faithful dog i have EVER owned. He plays with my 16month old daughter and has not once shown a mean streak or rough tendancy at all. He washes & plays with my mother cat & kittens. An is now beat friends with my older dog Tallulah-Belle who is a Boston x Pug an she can be very boistress at times but poor old Thor like a tru gentleman takes her snappy moods. I wouldnt swap him for the world!! In apperance he does quite resemble a big stocky pittbull hes black brindal & has a HUGE box head. Apperance & build wise he really is Staff/Bullie but height wise hes a Rotty. I really dont know what i did without him hes bought alot of smiles love & protection too my daughter and i.
