My name is Gem and I organise the fundraising for Rescue Remedies. 

Rescue Remedies is a wonderful dog rescue based in the South East of England and included within Rescue Remedies is Staffie Rescue and Terrier Rescue. Dear All

After the success of last year’s Charity Dog Walk, Rescue Remedies have another one planned!

Date: Saturday, 14 April 2012
Time: 11am meet-up/arrival – set-off at 11:30am

Venue: The walk starts at the Car Park in Margery lane, Tadworth, Surrey. This is a 2 minute drive from Junction 8 of the M25. The nearest postcode for your Sat Navs is the BP Petrol Station at KT20 6SY. Margery Lane runs off of the A217 which will be sign posted. Further details, including a map can be found on the Rescue Remedies Forum on the link at the bottom of this message.

The Route: The walk takes in the views of the South Downs and is approx 5 miles long, so please wear adequate foot wear. We aim to set off at 11.30am so you should ensure you arrive before then.

A Donation: The cost of taking part in the walk will be £10 per dog, with a donation for every dog thereafter. Your dog will receive a ribbon to wear to show he is a fully paid up participant! All money raised will go directly to helping the Rescue Remedies dogs.

We would love to meet up with old friends so we really hope you can make it. However if you are unable to attend, but would like to support us anyway then you can do so by donating to our charity giving pagehttp://www.charitygiving.co.uk/rrcharitywalk

Refreshments: There will be a stall for refreshments and cake with all proceeds going to Rescue Remedies along with some treats for your dog/s. You may wish to bring a packed lunch for yourself. Please also ensure that you bring drinking water & poo bags for your dog/s.

Car Parking: There is a charge for car parking at the land belongs to the National Trust so please bring change with you.

Why not join us on the 11th March, 2012 for ‘Walkies in the Woods’ a sponsored dog walk around the beautiful grounds of Little Havens Hospice, in Thundersley, Essex?

Entry is £5.00 per person and under 5′s can join in the fun for free! The fun starts at 11am and what’s more, every dog will receive a special medal and a doggy bag on the day. Please do ask your friends, family and colleagues to sponsor your dog and help raise money for Havens Hospices.

DoodleMania.co.uk is holding it’s 2012 Annual Exodus on the weekend of Saturday 26th May 2012.

On Saturday 15th October 2011 Rescue Remedies will be hosting a charity dog walk in conjunction with BIGGSD and GSDVIGIL.

The entry fee is £10 per dog (or per family).  Your £10 entry fee will go to the charity of your choice.

The venue is FRISTON FOREST, SEVEN SISTERS COUNTRY PARK, EAST SUSSEX,  BN25 4AJ.  This postcode will get you to Charleston Manor which is less than half a mile away – with Charleston Manor on your left you carry on towards the A259 (Exceat) – keep an eye open for the first Forestry car park on your left – if you get to a tiny left hand turn signposted to West Dean Church or the A259 you’ve gone too far.

Please arrive by 10.15am to register and have photographs taken!  The main walk is 8 miles, with a stop off for lunch (please bring a packed lunch).  However there will also be a shorter walk running of approx 4 miles.  Don’t forget to bring suitable footwear/attire and water for your dog/s.

We would love to catch up with old friends!  We will also be bringing as many of our current kennel dogs as we can.  Please note that ALL dogs must be kept on a lead.

So if you would like to join us and raise some much needed funds for RESCUE REMEDIES, and join in on a fantastic social opportunity for your dog, then please do come along!

Happy Breed Dog Rescue are holding a coffee morning to raise funds for rescuing and re homing dogs in the mid sussex area.  Stalls include books, DVD’s, cakes, bric a brac and homemade cards. 

There will also be a stall selling doggie items.  Please support us and bag yourself a bargain!!

Join a merry band of dog-lovers raising money for charity at Pittville Park in Cheltenham, during this sponsored dog walk and family day out. This year the proceeds will go to two charities, Gloucestershire County Association for the Blind and Cheltenham Animal Shelter.
