Patsy
Through sheer luck these ladies were found and both have now been rescued and are looking for new homes. We do not routinely take dogs from foreign countries, but the rescue who did take her has asked us to look after her to allow her to get a little more one to one. We felt that Patsy would thrive here and agreed to help out to try and help build her confidence. Patsy lives really well with other dogs. I think that it only fair that Patsy should be homed with canine company. She loves sharing her life with another dog.  Patsy has no reaction to cats or small furry animals (ferrets, rats etc) and although nervous has no aggression. It must be said that initially she will appear scared of you. To get to know her takes a few days, but once she trusts you she settles extremely quickly and struts about with a wagging tail and is just happy to be alive. Patsy can only be homed with children over 10 years old. She has a very shy nature and the noise of children may scare her. Patsy is currently being walked on a long line lead as she gets very scared when strangers approach and shows signs of bolting if given the chance, so it is important that she is walked on a secure lead and collar or a snug harness. **Patsy belongs to Valgrays Border Collie Rescue and is here on a foster basis. |
