Boo at 8 months

Julie sent an update on Boo : Here's another recent pic of Boo now almost 2 years old. Her coat has changed in colour since she was a puppy. She's a lovely companion to me and very intelligent. Isn't she cute? We certainly think so.

Charlotte Halley sent this information in regarding her dog called Nixon. He has been dna tested he is a Staffy (main breed), crossed with a English Bull Terrier and a Greyhound. Nixon is very affectionate towards everyone including my 8 month old daughter. Very hyper, needs alot of exercise, very fast, he gets that from the Greyhound breed. Loves his cuddles, a very loyal dog, looks after me and never left my side when I was pregnant with my daughter. Lovely dog!.

I have a cream doberman/ red nose male (They are called Isobella's), and a red nose tan brindle female staff. They have lived all their lives together. The male is now 5 and the female is 8. A year and a half ago there was a little accident which resulted in 7 bitches being born!!!!!!! We kept two of the girls who are Ebony and the red one is called Amber. This is Bella, she is nearly 3 years old. She is about staff size, with a mix of the characteristics of the breeds. Extremely energetic, needs a very firm hand but is a very friendly, gentle dog despite this. We have had her since she was 8 weeks old. My main warning would be that she can jump very high!! We have extended our fences to 8 foot but she can still clear them. Thank you Sirena Davey for these lovely photo's and info.

Sent in by Ross & Tara: Here is a picture of Lola our Staff x German Shepherd. She is only 12 weeks old. She has characteristics of both dogs but looks like she is going to be a large dog, she also has a similar tail to that of a German shepherd. She can also very energetic and boisterous but seems very easy to train and happy pleasant dog especially around children.

This is Xena a Female Rottie x Staffie. She is 4 years old and is the best dog eva. Her mom is a rottie and he dad a staff. She loves children and if she can't say hello and give them a kiss she begins to pine. She is very muscular and great looking, everything about her is rottie other than her staffie stamina. This is our staffy cross rottie Ted, when these pictures were taken he was approx 1 yr old he is now almost 1 and 1/2 yr old, he is the most loyal, loving, family pet we have ever had, he is so soft and gentle with our 4 yr old daughter and he is very protective of the family and our home but although he can look and sound intimidating he is really just an oversized lap dog. I will argue with anyone who says they are a vicious breed, it is not the breed that makes them vicious its the way they are treat and raised. This photo shows him climbing on my mother in law wanting cuddles lol. he is so playful and mischievious ya cant help but love him. I would recommend this breed to anybody who is wanting a loving and loyal family dog as they are fantastic with kids. Thanks to Tanya Hodds for this pic and info.

Hi there I have a rottie cross staff, 7 months old beautiful girl, lovely temperament, very cuddly and loves licking people, she is excellent with kids {I have two kids one 7months old and one 3 years old}, she is completely house trained, knows sit , stay, no , paw and wait, bed and out, even my 3 year old child can tell her to do this with a treat in hand of course, she loves being played with and pulled about by my kids, shes a lovely soppy dog is excellent with other dogs rarely barks, and gets on with cats, perfect all rounder dog. He is a lovely natured boy with alot of energy that I try to wear out daily with long walks in the country side not far from where we live in Brighton. This is Roo (short for Kangaroo) he is a 5 year old male cross between a Rotweiler and Staffy. He was rescued from a family who were going to have him put down due to his boisterous behaviour. He is very much loved now and enjoys bouncing, collecting shoes and socks (he has a foot fetish) and trips out in the car! He is so energetic and still acts like a puppy, he is so loving and loves his snuggles. He's one of a kind and people always comment on how beautiful his markings are. He is the size and build of a staffy with Rottweiler markings and a rotti head! He's perfect.! Thank you to May O'Connor for sharing this info and pics.

Some pictures of our Bella, who is a staff/rottie cross. You will never meet a more affectionate dog, she loves cuddles, and snuggling up on either mine or her daddies lap (even though she is a big girl!). Paisley is around 6 now is the smartest, sweetest and the happiest dog I've ever had, and I've been a dog owner since I was three. I think she's also the most beautiful. She arrived at the shelter with her two siblings. All three had distemper. She and her brother recovered. Then they both came down with parvo. Only Paisley survived. No wonder she's so happy. From Moira: My beautiful Fawn, who is now 15 months old. I was told she was a Staffy Bullmastiff Cross but everyone said she didn't look like a mastiff - even the vet said that. I was so happy when I looked the breed up on the internet and found out that's exactly the breed she is. She is a beautifully natured dog and is such a loving and loyal companion to me. She is usually obedient and caught on very quickly. One thing I haven't been able to get her to stop is pulling on the leash. When she has had a run and is puffed, she doesn't pull. I had to get one of those Halties and she sure doesn't like that. She is a real lady and she gets lots of affectiion from me

This is Franky when he was 4 months weighing in at an impressive 17.5kg! He is very affectionate and very intelligent too. He loves cuddles and playing with my other dog. He gets on well with kids and other dogs. although destructive when home alone without the tv on... if the tv is on.... he's fine.... go figure... He snores like mad and has terrible flatulance and a wheat intolerance but I wouldn't be without him. Steven and Sarah supplied this lovely pic and info.

This is Storm she is 3 years old. She is very loving, caring and intelligent. She loves to cuddle up to our 5 year old son and plays with other dogs in our park. People jump to conclusions about this particular breed of staffy cross bullmastif saying they are aggressive dogs, this is just NOT the case. This is Tootsy at 9 weeks old. Her mum is bullmastiff x and her dad is a papered staffordshire terrier. At 9 weeks tootsy is already proving to be a very loyal and gentle dog, she gets on great with the kids and other dog's even the cat and chicken's. I love her to bit's . Georgia (Worcestershire, England) sent in info on her Staffordshire Bull Terrier x Bullmastiff Cross: She is about 40cm tall from shoulder to ground, her head width is between 6 and 7 inches (at the widest points). She weighs around 24kgs. Would appreciate hearing your views on what you think she is crossed with. . Her temperament is brilliant with ppl, HORRENDOUS with other dogs hence the muzzle. Good with strangers if we introduce them to her but barks if somebody comes to the door if we haven't spoken to them first.

This is Scooby at 10 weeks old his mum is 3/4 Bullmastiff and 1/4 Staff and his dad is a full Bullmastiff he is the friendliest dog I've ever known stops to be stroked by every one, loves other dogs and is now 12 weeks and is learning commands very quickly just got to learn that my socks arn't for chewing lol . My staffordshire mastiff is now 3 years old and is completely opposite to the generalised stereotypes they suffer from. He has been completely trust worthy with the family children and adores my doberman they commonly share beds, food, bones, toys and walks. He also gets on famously with my cat, although he likes to Chase them to him its a innocent game, and often gently play fights with the cat, often provoked by the cat.He is a blonde /teddy bear colour with white colouring on his chest. He is also a lively breed and enjoys hours of playing but is very responsive to certain actions. For example when he needs calming he responds effectively to a simple belly rub. Sweet and affectionate and has surpassed all my expectations of him, never would I have imagined a staffordshire mastiff would be do loyal and friendly. Sent in by K Gadam

My German Shepherd x Husky Kira as a puppy and now at 1 year 6 months! She is black with a white patch on her chest in between her toes and under her tail. She also has brown flecks in her leg hair. She is the most loyal dog I have ever had or met. No matter what she sticks by my side. She is very clever and knows sit, down, stay, both paws, up again, watch out, come, bow, crawl, play dead and most recently bang where she limps then crawls then plays dead! I'm just stuck on deciding what to teach her next! Her only downside is that she has a tendency to bark at certain people and she is petrified of children!! Send in by Natz Free
