CROSS BREED PROFILE: Labrador x Springer Spaniel
A Labrador Springer Spaniel cross (sometimes called a Labradinger) may range in size from medium to large with a mid range energy level, and a high protection instinct. It will be active and obedient. This dog will be a great family pet, but good with children only when they have been raised with them.

This is Poppy, she is 15 weeks old. Her Mum was a Springe Spaniel and her Dad was a Chocolate Labrador

The picture attached shows Hunter. He is a truly incredible dog. Out of his litter he was the only black and white one, the rest were brown and black. He climbs pine trees, sometimes twenty feet up, chasing birds. He has saved many of our horses from the West Nile virus by staying up for days straight keeping them from laying down and dying. He chases his tail, follows around toddlers making sure they don't get into trouble and barks if they get too close to any danger. He has a vertical jump of over five feet, thus pens do no good to keep him contained. But we live in the country, so he is a free dog. He never runs away, just patrols the borders of our estate. He is 11 years old and still can run as fast as in his prime, although he gets sore. He is a cuddler and is completely house trained and has never bitten anyone. He comes and wakes us up if he has to go to the bathroom when we keep him in on cold nights. We never trained him formally, just 5 minutes here and there. We brought him pheasant hunting and he taught himself how to flush and retrieve the birds. And he can hold a piece of bacon on his nose for 20 minutes without blinking.
