CROSS BREED PROFILE: Staffordshire Bull Terrier x Boxer Cross
A Staffordshire Bull Terrier and a Boxer mix, sometimes called a Bull Boxer, is a medium sized dog with defined muscles. The colors are usually fawn or brindle with some white.
Bull Boxers are social and good family dogs. They could be nervous or aggressive, so they should be socialized early.
They are calm and intelligent, and easy to train.

Hi there, please could you tell me if she is a staffie boxer cross, we have rescued her and this is what we have been told she is, can you also tell me what sort of temperament they have and are they good with children as I have a 15 month old grandaughter. Please contact Janie Parker if you have any info for her :chiqlady70@hotmail.com

Thank you for having such a wonderful site, it helped me to adopt Piranha. Because of the information (i'd find on the Get Set Pet website) I choosed her and she turned out to be an amazing dog. Thank you for sharing Christina Rijntjes

- This is our 3 yr old boy, Solwyn. It took a while to get his attention when training as a pup but with consistancy and insentive training, he has turned into an amazing animal. He is very inteligent in fact, he wrote this! He loves to studdy our reflections and does communicate with us through the reflection in the fireplace. Also he loves to think and work things out, and boy can he run. He’s very well behaved and does not steal food, in fact, he dissasociates himself from the naughty antics of our Jack Russel. Loves our horse, adores children and mostly good with other dogs. Very, very caring and loyal, good guard dog too. All in all, he is a massive part of our family and I swear he understands what we say. Only downside…he’s too big for sharing the couch! Sent in by Steve Pearn

Hi Alison
Socialisation is a must if you want to be able to walk your dog quietly and calmly anywhere. You must be very confident with your dog and he should know who’s boss. Please if you any concerns about his strength start taking him to a regular training class as this will help you develop the skills and confidence you need and give your dog some social time, it really is very important part of owning a dog
I have just recently rescued a boxer staffy x and named him Ben, he is adorable at first he was all skin and bone however he’s appetite is good and after just 1 month he looks fabulous,he’s very strong and very playful and completely taken over my life, he curls up his top lip and smiles at me all the time, I hav’nt yet socialised him with other dogs (although he’s a big softy with a teddy) and would like to book some classes but am not sure Im strong enough to restrain him if he didn’t get on, any advise would be much appreciated.
Hi my nan and grandad have a staffy x boxer 1yr old and hes naughty as they let him do whatever he wants I trained him but they have undone it. He runs away off lead and bosses them about jumps up mouths them and growls at them when hes on their bed. But around me hes good as im more disciplined. So All I would say is train them well and be in charge appart from them hes loving friendly dog.
We have an Am. Stafford/ Boxer cross for 2 weeks now. She’s 7 months old and weights 29 kgs, is about 56 cm tall. She has strong developed muscles, long legs and beautifull dark golden eyes. Did some of you notice the teeth of your staffi/boxer? Our Piranha has a mandible overbite, i guess thats normal for the pure boxer breed. Somehow she inherited those genes. Piranha loves cats, loves to run, snuggle, sleep, guard, and enjoys taking a warm shower. She’s a quick learner (still needs to learn a lot). Ill try to post some foto’s. Tanks for reading! Good luck and enjoy the wondefull times with your Stafford/ Boxer cross.
Hi…i have a staff cross boxer could anyone tell me how much food i should feed him a day and also what there ideal weight should be hes 2yrs old.ive not long had him.
i have staffy/boxer named Juke, hes all white with a brown patch over his eye, he is 13 months old, very big and very muscley. Hes a right softy n always wants to be fussed he does look scarey for other people and barks if he doesnt know you but he would just lick you to death, i have 2 young children and he is brilliant with them too, hes so loyal, clever and beautiful wouldnt change him for the world, regardless what people say these breed of dogs defantly make good family pets
we have a staffy/boxer cross (i think?! he came from a dogs home and they werent certain of his breed!) he looks like one tho in comparison to the pictures ive seen online! he is 19 months old and very mischevious!! only had him 2 months though and he was in kennels for nearly a year so i think he just needs to learn some manners! we go to obidience classes once a wk for an hour, he gets very excited but gets on well with the other dogs. has only shown signs of agression when other dogs have had a go at him which i think is fair enough. hes very affectionate but has started chewing things when we are out and hes left alone, im hoping this will improve once hes more settled and that he’ll grow out of it. does anyone know how big this breed gets?? hes 23kg now and very strong!!!
We have a 3yo desexed BOXER X ENGLISH STAFFY girl. She is very affectionate, loves lots of cuddles. But ever since she grew out of the naughty puppy stage, she has become occasionally aggressive when let off the lead at the beach, towards other dogs, not every dog, not specifically other female dogs. We adopted her at 8 months old, but as a pup never showed any sign of aggression towards other dogs, until around 2yo. i have been told that this is my fault for not diceplining her enough ( even though i beleive i do) or are these traits possibly due to her breed?
We have a staffy X boxer, his name is Jack!… He was a naughty puppy but he is 4 now and he is the best pooch ever. He has grown to have nice manners, he always practices his patience, he is funloving, still a little crazy but he has a great and gentle nature. He likes playing ball games and loves being the ‘piggy’ in the middle. He loves his food and his favourite food is chicken. He goes for daily walks but he hates the rain and sooks at the door with a sad look in his eyes if he doesnt get regular walks and attention. On cold days he sleeps inside and he loves laying near the heater on cold winter nights.
We have had our Boxer x Staffy for 8yrs now and he is fantastic with children and other dogs. He was very easy to train and is brillant OFF the lead. He is just pure muscle and an excellent swimmer as we live near lakes we walk him round and he happily swims all the way round the lake (about 50metres) with ease and he could still go some more if he wanted. I will post pic of him as you can somtimes get ugly ones but he his a very good looking male..
My boyfriend and I have a staffy boxer mix. His name is Punk and he is very smart. You can speak English to this dog and he understands you. very easy to train and his eyes are so expressive it’s like he talks to you with them. I will post a pic later for yall!
