CROSS BREED PROFILE: Staffordshire Bull Terrier x Greyhound
Sometimes called a Bull Greyhound or Staffordshire Greyhound, this mix is a very strong and fast dog. They usually look more like a Greyhound, but more muscular.
Bull Greyhounds are well behaved, good family dogs. They are loyal and very gentle dogs.
They shouldnt be let off lead until trained, since they are usually more like a Greyhound, which are hunters that hunt from sight.

Charlotte Halley sent this information in regarding her dog called Nixon. He has been dna tested he is a Staffy (main breed), crossed with a English Bull Terrier and a Greyhound. Nixon is very affectionate towards everyone including my 8 month old daughter. Very hyper, needs alot of exercise, very fast, he gets that from the Greyhound breed. Loves his cuddles, a very loyal dog, looks after me and never left my side when I was pregnant with my daughter. Lovely dog!.

We have an 11 month old staff/ greyhound cross & she is an absolutely wonderful dog with the children. Unfortunately, we live in an extremely rural area & have discovered that she can’t be let off the leash…she likes to chase/run with the sheep which is a major no no here & if the cats move a tad too quickly, she’s on them like a flash.. Any ideas on training her to be ok off the leash? We’ve tried all conventional methods & someone said we’d better not leave her alone with the cats because she’s rip them apart!
our little girl is the most beautiful and affectionate dog possible. my wife was iffy about getting a dog and was always suspicious of dogs………but the two are inseperable now
We had a cross greyhound and staffordshire bull terrier. It was a superb dog and I wondered where it would be possible to acquire another one Thomas
I have a staffy/greyhound mix had her about7 months but she was just over as year when I got her she has staffy head but bigger and slimmer but height and length of a greyhound have heard she bred for hunting but had broken front leg who breeds this type of cross?
We have just adopted a staff cross greyhound, only yesterday! We were told he’s one year old but he isn’t lifting his leg yet and seems very puppyish. He had been kept as a hunting dog but didn’t have what it takes apparently… We think he has been mis-treated as he is undernourished and has a sore leg. Despite this he is extremelly gentle and walks right to your heel on the leash!!! He has followed my 7 year old daughter around constantly since he arrived and we can tell this is a friendship thet is going to last! Can anyone tell me their average age please?
