Welcome to our rescue of the quarter page, here you will find details of the rescue we are promoting and raising money for from Sept – Dec 2011
In 2011 we are proud to be supporting “SEDR” South East Dog Rescue based in Medway Kent, run by a lovely lady called Kymm. We choose to support “SEDR” as we have watched them blossom into a fantastic helpful rescue service with a very strict “No Kill Policy”.
Being a small rescue coping with many dogs (lots of which are breeds the more well known rescues wont take in!) without kennelling facilities. They have to pay for kennels and rely on foster carers. They are an incredibly dedicated team. This has paid off as they have recently been fortunate enough to have had some land donated to their charity which they would very much like to build their own kennel block to massively reduce their costs. We believe that this would enabling them to expand the fantastic rescue service they offer and want to appeal for your support. You can either donate directly to their Kennel appeal via their website or as we know time are hard and everyone is counting every penny you can support them by buying your pet supplies from the GetSetPet online shop as we will be donating our net profit from May to Dec 2011 to this appeal.
